Foto's, releasedatum en titel voor Scream 5!

We schreven al een paar keer over Scream 5, het komende deel in de reeks met terugkeer van Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette en Marley Shelton! De opnames zijn afgerond en de productie plaatste deze foto's op Facebook:

That’s a wrap on Scream, which I’m excited to announce is the official title of the next film! Nearly 25 years ago, when I wrote Scream and Wes Craven brought it to life, I could not have imagined the lasting impact it would have on you, the fans. I’m excited for you to return to Woodsboro and get really scared again. I believe Wes would’ve been so proud of the film that Matt and Tyler are making. I’m thrilled to be reunited with Neve, Courteney, David and Marley, and to be working alongside a new filmmaking team and incredible cast of newcomers that have come together to continue Wes’s legacy with the upcoming relaunch of the franchise that I hold so dear to my heart. De film is geregisseerd door Matt Bettinelli-Olpin en Tyler Gillett naar een script van Guy Busick en James Vanderbilt. Williamson was bij het hele proces betrokken. Ook zijn de regisseurs bewust dat in de voetsporen stappen regisseur Wes Craven.

Als laatste is nu ook duidelijk hoe Scream 5 gaat heten:

Juist. Scream 5 krijgt de titel SCREAM. Ik had 5CREAM leuker gevonden als vervolg op SCRE4M. Maargoed, we zien het helaas vaker en gezien we nog tot januari 2022 moeten wachten, is er nog een kans dat er iets verandert.
