De teaser van Resident Evil: Retribution is verpakt in een reclamefilmpje van Sony. Deze teaser geeft vrijwel niets weg van het verhaal, maar het geheel oogt meer als een sciencefictionfilm dan een horrorfilm.
De vijfde film al weer dat gebaseerd is op het gelijknamige videospel. Net zoals Afterlife is Retribution ook volledig in 3D opgenomen en zit Paul W.S. Anderson wederom op de regisseurstoel. Ook de vertouwde cast is weer terug: Milla Jovovich, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Isaacs en Oded Fehr.

Resident Evil: Retribution zal op 14 september 2012 in de VS in premiere gaan. Een Nederlandse datum is nog niet bekend.
Ik heb weinig hoop dat dit iets goeds zal worden, maar ik zal het ongetwijfeld wel kijken.
Apart dat ze muziek van TRON: Legacy eronder hebben gezet.
Tja, gaat natuurlijk gezien worden… Maar van mij mag er wel een eind aan dit verhaal gezet worden :s
Alle RESIDENT EVIL verfilmingen zijn toch meer sciencefiction gemengd met een flinke dosis actie dan horror? Nouja, behalve de eerst, die is toch wat duisterder.
